This past weekend I was with my daughter when she ran in front of me and said, "I'm the line leader!". When I tried to walk past her, she said that I had to follow her...Even though she had no idea where I was going...
I started thinking about leadership and whether or not "running to the front" automatically makes that person the leader of a group.

That is awesome! My daughter does almost the same thing. Her derived sense of power from the "line leader" position is interesting. It makes me think about the "question authority" statement, as I ask her what real power is? She is still too young to get the question. I wonder if some of my colleagues would get the question.
